Halal Recipe For Cantonese Steamed Fish
Ingredients:
8 ounces fish fillet
1 finger ginger, thinly sliced
3 spring onions, thinly sliced
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp soy sauce
How to cook Cantonese Steamed Fish:
- Bring water to a boil in a container with a steamer on top. Place the fish fillets in a plate, sprinkle half a serving of ginger and spring onions on top of the fish, steam for 8 minutes.
- Remove the plate from the steamer, and discard the water in the container. Add the remaining ginger and scallions, and soy sauce to the fish plate.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan; Pour the hot vegetable oil on the fish. Serve
