Halal Recipes for Stamppot

Stamppot is a typical Dutch menu, this food is made from boiled and crushed potatoes (mashed potatoes) and mixed with some vegetables such as carrots, or other green vegetables such as Boerenkool. Served hot along with a large sausage called Rookworst.

The origins of stamppot are unknown but this Dutch dish is well known and can be made into a cheap and delicious dish

The traditional Dutch stamppot recipe uses mashed potatoes as the base, and then combines vegetables (most delicious is sauerkraut, kale, endive, spinach, and turnip greens) and sometimes meat, making for the perfect comfort meal.

There are no real rules about what goes into a stamppot, though, so the variety is as endless as you might imagine.
