Bratwurst From German

Bratwurst comes from the word “brat” in Old German meaning finely chopped meat. Meanwhile, "wurst" means sausage. This popular type of sausage from Germany is usually cooked by grilling or sautéing with various spices such as pepper, coriander, and cumin.

For those of you who like to eat sausages, it is very appropriate if you taste Bratwurst. This jumbo-sized sausage is grilled and served with a salad which is then called kartoffelsalat. But nowadays bratwurst is also widely served in a variety of views. Some are served with a sprinkling of onions or a sprinkling of cheese. Then this bratwurst menu also has many variants, ranging from beef, chicken, pork and turkey.

Usually bratwurst is served with kartoffelsalat. There are also those who enjoy it with bread topped with cheese or onions.

Igredients for Bratwurst

  • 6 beef bratwurst sausages (with sides)
  • 4 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp chili sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed and finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • lettuce leaves



Halal Recipe for Bratwurst

  1. Melt the butter in Teflon then add the onion, garlic. Saute until fragrant
  2. Enter the barbecue sauce and chili sauce that has been provided
  3. Add ground pepper and mustard. Stir well. Wait until cooked.
  4. On the coals/ you can use Teflon, grease the sausage with butter, then bake. Wait for it to ripen. Then lift.
  5. Prepare the sausage on a plate then serve with barbque sauce. Bratwurst sausage is ready to be served.
